Their On-page SEO audit tool checks against 80+ parameters, and rank tracking tool is feature rich. They are a few SEO suite which offers 14 days free trial without the need for credit card. We like the mantra of SERanking “Try it, before you buy it”.

It also offers free trial (without credit card), which boasts about how confident they are of their offering.

What I really like about SE Ranking is the ease of use. I started using it for rank tracking, and was surprised to see how easy it is to use it. In fact, It was SERanking interface that made me write this review of SE Ranking. Let’s deep dive into the features of SE Ranking:

Projects:

Projects are how you manage your multiple websites SEO on SE Ranking. In the base plan, you can create up to 10 projects, and every projects will have individual features such as Rank tracking, Website audit, backlink monitoring, Keyword Grouper to name a few. Creating a project is the first thing you would be doing to setup your SE Ranking account.

It is vital that you setup your projects correctly. Here are two tips for you:

  • Add your competitors
  • Add search engines in which you want to track keywords (Ex: Google India, Google USA)

And, don’t worry about making mistakes while setting up the project. As you can always go back, and edit your project settings. 

Website Rank Tracking:

Once you have set up your first project, the next step is to add your keywords for rank tracking on SE Ranking. You can add keywords manually, or SE Ranking could suggest keywords to track. SE Ranking keyword rank tracker offers groups feature to easily manage keyword tracking.

I found the website audit feature of SE Ranking to be basic, and they could add a lot more features. For example, features such as

  • Webpage with low text to HTML ratio ( Thin content)
  • Meta description exceeding xxx words
  • Meta title exceeding xxx words

Again, these are suggestions, but overall website audit feature presents the data in a nice format, which you can use to optimize and fix your website’s technical SEO issues. 

The cheapest SE Ranking plan let you analyse 35,000 pages. 

The backlink monitor feature of SE Ranking differs from many similar SEO tools. Here, you would be manually adding backlinks that you wish to monitor. This is ideal when you run a backlink building campaign, and monitor the status of those backlinks.

This is keyword grouping feature, which helps you to avoid keyword cannibalization, and group similar keywords. I have talked about this feature earlier in my review of ClusterAI. A tool, which I believe other keyword research tools should add as soon as possible.

Lead generator:

This tool is for SEO professionals and agencies to generate leads for their services. Using this tool, you can offer free SEO audit reports to your possible leads in return of their email. From here on, you can reach out to them for possible SEO optimization service.

Lead Generator is a widget that can automatically generate qualified leads for your business as soon as you install it on your website. The form offers visitors to run On-Page SEO Checker for free. 

This feature is available in Pro and Business plan.

On page SEO Audit:

This tool compares your target page and keyword against the SERP competitors on 80+ parameters. It gives a detailed side-by-side comparison of your page with competitors. 

You can find information such as:

How much keyword density you should have for your target keyword

  • How much more texts you should add
  • If your technical SEO is alright, or you need to improve it
